This tour is available only during scallop season which runs from July 1st through September 10th. The distance and difficulty of this trip varies each year depending on where the little buggers are hiding. What an awesome trip though. Steinhatchee is one of the rare areas in the world where the conditions and environment is conducive to scallops. It is like an Easter egg hunt in the largest aquarium in the world, but the end product is much more tasty. I will supply the dive flag. You must supply your own snorkeling gear, fishing license and reasonable fitness. I will teach you back at the shore how to clean and cook scallops.
